"You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete."
Buckminster Fuller
Co-creating the foundations for a better way of living

New Earth is a movement
to crowdfund land
and build co-housing communities
where the essentials of life —
shelter, energy, food and water —
become human rights.
Our goal is simple:
to reduce human suffering
by co-creating homes
with the general public,
rather than society relying solely
on a traditional investment model
which fails to serve us.
A people-powered model,
enabled by global digital connection —
the inevitable evolution of housing.
From the old world, a new one can grow
a simple shift that changes everything

The Problems We Face
A Broken Model
In a profit-driven system, rising housing costs are inevitable — and income is continuously absorbed by rent.

OLD EARTH
Earn to survive
Without consciously providing the essentials of life, survival remains difficult and people are left overworked just to cover the cost of living.
But now, things can be different
Democratic Co-housing
Global digital connection and crowdsourcing
enable us to come together and provide the essentials of life — shelter, energy, food and water — as human rights.

+
Security
A stronger foundation beneath everyone
When survival depends on income,
most of life is spent securing the basics.
When the essentials are guaranteed,
people are free to grow, connect
and more fully realise their potential.

Existing systems tend to concentrate wealth and divide opportunity. People-powered housing helps reduce these imbalances.
By raising our baseline standard of living,
we create a stronger social foundation —
beneath which no one can fall.

+
Provision
The essentials of life, provided for all
To preserve food during long supply chains, crops are often modified and treated with chemicals — reducing quality and increasing reliance on industrial agriculture.

Organic Hydroponics
Integrating hydroponic systems into living environments removes the need for harmful chemicals while eliminating the pollution associated with long, industrial food supply chains.

+
Health
Stronger bodies through cleaner living
Many people are stuck in sedentary routines, working long hours just to cover basic living costs. Movement becomes something we have to squeeze in — if at all.
Over time, stress and inactivity begin to take a toll on both body and mind.

Space to Move
With fewer financial pressures, time becomes more flexible and self-directed. Movement can return as a natural part of daily life, not something forced into spare moments.
Shared spaces for exercise, fitness and wellbeing support healthier, more active lifestyles.

+
Well-being
Peace of mind for everyday balance
Without secure access to the essentials of life,
many remain misemployed and overworked
simply to cover rising living costs —
driving stress, anxiety and depression.

Peace of Mind
By removing unnecessary rent and bills,
people gain the freedom to pursue fulfilling work,
retain more of what they earn and choose how they spend their time.
Freedom
+
More time to live life on your terms
Many people believe they are free, yet much of life is shaped by the need to earn just to survive. Time, energy and choices are often dictated by financial pressure. What feels like freedom is often constraint we’ve simply learned to accept.

Thrive
When the essentials of life are no longer tied to income, time becomes truly your own. Work becomes a choice rather than a necessity. Life can be shaped around what you genuinely want to do, not what you have to do to survive.
Wealth
+
No more rent, no more bills
Each month, a large portion of income is lost to rent, bills and basic living costs. What remains is often limited, making it difficult to save, invest or spend freely. Many people are left treading water, with little room to get ahead.

Keep What You Earn
When these major outgoings are removed, more of what you earn stays with you. Your financial position becomes more stable, with greater freedom to save, spend and plan ahead. Over time, this creates a more secure and abundant way of living.
Connection
+
Stronger communities, deeper human connection
Modern life can be isolating, with many people living and working alone. Social media connects us digitally, yet often replaces real human interaction. Over time, this can lead to loneliness, disconnection and declining mental wellbeing.

Real connection
Co-housing brings people closer together while still preserving privacy and personal space. Shared environments make it easier to connect naturally, without effort or obligation. Whether for work, play or conversation, meaningful human interaction becomes part of everyday life again.
Environment
+
Live in harmony with nature and restore the ecosystem
Extracting and burning fossil fuels needlessly damages ecosystems and pollutes the air.
Much of this centralised energy is then lost as waste heat before it even reaches our towns and cities.

Local Biofuel
New Earth cohousing will turn domestic organic waste into clean energy —
produced locally, right from our homes.
We help restore the environment by building zero-carbon co-housing that produces its own clean energy, organic food, pure water and bio-based materials.
Bioplastic Production
Plant-based, biodegradable plastics can be produced and used locally within co-housing communities — enabling a domestic, zero-waste 3D printing system that reduces plastic pollution.
Single-use, oil-based plastics can take hundreds of years to break down and often end up in our oceans — harming marine life and entering the food chain.
